About the Artist:
Local artist Courtney Wilkerson was born and raised in Durham, NC. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC with a major in Elementary Education with a minor in Visual Arts. Courtney spent 11 years in Elementary education, serving in the areas of Kindergarten, 3rd Grade, 5th Grade, Academic Coach & Academic Interventionist.

Courtney and her husband Tyler have three sweet boys, as well as pup Rhett and kitty Corey. She and her family recently relocated to Charlotte, NC where she looks forward to sharing her passion for art with others... hence, The Tipsy Palette! What better way to make art than with your friends & family than over a yummy beverage!? 

Courtney is excited to bring out the inner artist in you! No artistic abilities required. :)
