FREE EVENT | Rumination Arts Festival

Celebrate the arts along the scenic South Fork River at the Rumination Arts Festival!

Join us on Saturday, November 4th, starting at 9 am for a day filled with creativity, live music, and opportunities to contribute to community art projects. This one-day extravaganza promises to be a celebration of artistic expression and community spirit, offering an array of activities and attractions for all ages.

The highlight of the festival is the Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest, kicking off at 9 am. Participants of all ages are invited to unleash their creativity on the pavement, interpreting the theme "What Cramerton Means to Me" in colorful chalk. This contest promises to transform the streets into an open-air gallery of creativity.

The festival will also feature the unveiling of the new Free Little Art Gallery, showcasing tiny artworks created by the community. These captivating pieces add an artistic touch to Cramerton, embodying the town's creative spirit.

Art enthusiasts can also participate in the creation of Community Art Panels – collaborative pieces that celebrate Cramerton's identity. These panels will be displayed in the town, demonstrating the power of artistic collaboration.

For those interested in sustainable art, the festival offers a Plastic Bottle Flower Workshop, where participants can craft beautiful flowers from upcycled plastic bottles, promoting both creativity and environmental consciousness.

The Rumination Arts Festival is a testament to Confluence’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and creative community, as well as Catawba Riverkeeper’s dedication to engage and educate the community on the challenges that the South Fork River faces. It's a day to explore, celebrate, and create, making it a must-attend event for art enthusiasts, families, and anyone seeking a day filled with creativity, community, and culture.
