A GRAMMY nominee and winner of 13 International Bluegrass Music Association awards, Darren Nicholson has taken his own brand of mountain music around the world. A regular for years on the Grand Ole Opry out of Nashville Tennessee, and a founding member of acclaimed bluegrass group Balsam Range, Darren now spends his time recording, writing new songs, and performing. You can catch Darren almost every week sharing the music he loves somewhere, traveling both nationally and internationally - as a solo artist, with his own Darren Nicholson Band, or in collaboration with other musicians.

Coming of age in the shadow of the Sauratown Mountains, Will Easter learned the family traditions; working hard, enjoying life, and playing music. These lessons combined with inspiration from the wild calm of the land and steady roar of the river impressed on Will’s heart the inspiration for his masterful lyrics and music. From Boone and Asheville to the Triad and Charlotte, Will has become a staple of music venues and festivals throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. With a piece of every place woven into each song, his music has something for everyone, while paying homage to his roots.

Elonzo Wesley | FREE at the Outdoor Pavilion
Elonzo Wesley began in 2015, brainchild of singer songwriter Jeremy Davis. Beginning as a solo artist, but also now performing as a string band, Elonzo Wesley has released two EP’s (To Be True, This Ain’t No Country Song) , a live album (Live at the Evening Muse), and two full length albums. Most recently, releasing 2019’s Songs To No One, on the heels of multiple national tours.

Trace Casanova | FREE Kids Concert at Confluence
A local musician and actor, Trace Casanova has been offering up musical musings for mini munchkins since June of 2020. Trace (or Mr. Trace) sings fun songs that kids can sing along with and dance to, giving them some exercise, some musical entertainment, and of course, an occasional excess of silliness.
